Woombah Woods Caravan Park is centrally located on the beautiful Clarence Coast in Northern NSW. It is just 500 metres from the Pacific Highway so is very convenient for travellers who want to pull off the highway for a good night's rest or relax away from the rush of everyday life.

We are ideally situated in the Northern Rivers region with easy access to:

  • Ballina - 74 kms, 1 hour drive
  • Byron Bay - 105 kms, 1 hour 22 mins drive
  • Gold Coast - 150kms, 1 hour 50 mins drive

Woombah & Harwood

Just down the road you can visit the Southernmost Coffee Plantation, Woombah Coffee and share some knowledge with our resident coffee growers, Joy and Joan. Go canoeing up the Esk River, fish for bass or catch an eel.

The local cane indutry is a way of life, so a visit to the Harwood Sugar Mill or the well known 'Harwood Hilton' Pub for a fantastic meal on the banks of the river is well woth it.

With many more activities like fishing, kayaking, bush walking and exploring the natural beauty of the Clarence Valley, you'll have time to both relax and explore our beautiful area.


Iluka

Just 10 minutes drive, or approximately 10 kms down the road, the seaside village of Iluka is a relaxing small community where you can have some quiet time to yourself

Relax, swim and surf at one of many local beaches, walk along the Iluka Nature Reserve track, buy some souvenirs at the community markets, or go four wheel driving along untouched coastline.


Yamba & Angourie

Just 20 minutes, or approximately 20 kms drive, you can also visit Yamba on the Ferry which leaves Iluka and crosses the Clarence River and mooring in the heart of town.

Famous as a surfing and beach destination, Yamba and Angourie offer incredible surfing and swimming beach locations. Yamba also has fine dining and numerous restaurants, cafes and local shops, as well as community markets, movie theatre and cultural events throughout the year.


Maclean, The Scottish Town of Australia

A short 15 minute drive across the other side of the Clarence River will find you at Maclean, famous for it's Scottish heritage, tartan telegraph poles, and situated on the banks of the river.

The Maclean lookout will give you a fantastic view of the river out to the coastline, across the cane fields of local farmers. With a community market, very popular cafe's and coffee, a strong history and friendly atmosphere everyone feels welcome at Maclean.
